Abstract: The subject of this graduation project for the well-being of Ji'an City area large size residential building design, design elements into the architectural design and structural design. For the six-storey residential buildings in this framework, not seismic.
In the "Architecture Design" section, this design is the design of residential buildings, a total of 6 layers, high level of 3m, divided into two units, one staircase two bottom ,a Methodist household, other layers are large type layout,a Methodist household, the lighting will be able to meet the ventilation requirements, the economic indicators are reasonable.
In the "Structural Design" section, in accordance with the architectural design, technology use, as well as the supply of live materials and construction capabilities, such as site geological conditions to determine the structure of a reasonable layout and structure of the program, and then select a model framework and its column榀under the design basis for the calculation. First clear diagram with the calculated parameters; and then determine their practices in accordance with construction subject to dead load, live load and wind load, in this based on the calculation of internal force, internal force calculation and combination of lateral displacement, the end beams, columns, plates , staircases and reinforced based on the calculation.

In the design process, we used computer software PKPM to hand count the results of computer and compared in order to improve the accuracy of structural calculations. Finally PKPM Tianzheng CAD generated plans to revise the structure drawings obtained.
