如果你的Public Health专业title是MSc，则“more oriented toward students wishing to seek a career in academics and research rather than public health practice”，如果你的专业title是MPH，则“are geared towards those who want careers as practitioners of public health in traditional health departments, managed care organizations, community-based organizations, hospitals, consulting firms, international agencies, state and federal agencies, among others.”

学Public Health的学生，以后就业可以考虑加入英国的NHS，或者一些需要有medical背景／知识的工作岗位，除此之外专业就业口径不是很宽，很多念这个专业的学生之后会攻读PhD。

比较几个学校的专业，大致是两个方向，一个是research，一个是knowledge的深入。Sunderland的这个学科是新成立的，虽然在info中有强调一些management skills，但是因为是新专业，就业口碑不高。我个人认为Queen Margaret比较好，QMU的专业知识比较实用（public health policy making; health promotion specialists; health research and community health development等），而且QMU的这个专业属於NHS项目的一部分，以后就业有可能会比其他学生有优势一些。Bangor强调的是理论知识和pomotion skills的拓展，也有一些management方面的选修课; 而surrey就其课程设置来看，比较academic。
