不用再上早课

一所私立学校每天都会在下午才开始上课，因为学校的校长认为，早上起得晚一点，学生们会学习得更好。

在英国的汉普顿皇家学校，每年学费15000英镑，学生不用在上午9点就开始上课，上午可以起得晚一点，在下午1:30开始上课，到晚上7点 。

学校的校长说，此举将从今年九月开始。他预计学生不止会有高质量的睡眠，他们的效率也将提高。

在英国，这将是唯一一所课堂开始得最晚，也将是唯一在下午才开始上课的学校。

No more morning classes

A private school is going to start lessons in the afternoon every day, because the school's head teacher thinks his pupils will study better after a morning lie in.

Instead of rising early for a 9 a.m. start, students at the £15,000-a-year Hampton Court House in Britain will get to enjoy a lie in and study from 1:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The head teacher of the school says that the move is going to kick in from September this year. He predicts that his students will not only get a quality night's sleep, but their efficiency will also improved.

The school will have the latest start time in the U.K. and will also be the only one to begin lessons in the afternoon.

"There are 168 hours in a week and how productive they are depends on how they choose to use those hours," said the head teacher. "At Hampton Court House, we are trying our best to help students study more efficiently."

Gabriel will be one of the first 30 students in school to start lessons at the later time. "I want to wake up in my bed, not my maths lesson." said the 15-year-old.
