1. Make is a verb.
2. Usage of "make":
- Make + noun (pronoun) + verb infinitive phrase, past participle phrase, prepositional phrase, noun phrase, adjective or adjective phrase. For example:
- To quote from Albert Einstein, science is the attempt to make the chaotic diversity of our sense experience correspond to a logically uniform system of thought.
- 引用阿尔伯特·爱因斯坦的话来说,科学是试图使我们头脑中一大堆杂乱无章的感性经验,符合于逻辑上前后一致的思维体系。
- Note that when the infinitive phrase is used as the object complement in the active voice, "to" is not required; however, in the passive voice, the infinitive phrase must include "to." For example:
- I was made to feel at ease.
- 我感到很自在。

3. Make + adjective (phrase) + noun phrase: This is a inverted structure, where the longer noun phrase is typically moved after the complement to maintain balance, without the need for a guiding word as a formal object. For example:
- The telescope made possible the observation of the far-off stars.
- 望远镜使人们能够观察遥远的星球。
