百分数：数字 + percent

百分数中的百分号%就是: percent。

例如:5% 读作: five percent

0.2% 读作: point two percent

500% 读作: five hundred percent

分数词：以基数词（one 、two、three……）和序数词（first、second、third……）合成的，基数词代表分子，序数词代表分母

例：1/3 one third

2/4 two fourth

①分子大于1时，分母需要用复数。

例：3/4 three quarters

②分数中的分母为2时，要用half 表示，不能用second ,因为second是一秒钟的意思。

1/2 a half one half

1/4 one quarter

③带有在整数的分数，整数部分以基数来读，并用and和分数连接起来。

例：5 又2/3 five and two thirds

④表示百分之一可以说one(a)hundredth，但更常用one percent或per cent，即用百分数表示法来表达。

例如：Seventy-five percent of the earth’ssur- face is covered by water.地球表面的75%被水覆盖着。

⑥名词part有“……分之一”的意思，分子大于1时，part用复数。

例：a hundred part百分之一
